As of JULY 2020: SWD is seriously considering suspending Encore for at least the first half of the 2020-2021 season... The regulations are still too fluid, and we simply cannot have adults dancing in masks as OSHA has effectively demonstrated that oxygen levels drop entirely too low during physical exertion.

​Shall We Dance... 'Again?!'

After we started teaching children's dance classes, we heard moms say over and over again that the one thing they missed most about their childhoods was the dance classes. They'd do it all over if they could, just to dance again... so, we founded "Encore" - a busy mom's second chance to dance.

  

Encore is Shall We Dance's all-around, ladies-only adult dance class / team! These once-a-week adult dance classes touch on ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and lyrical, but they are entirely performance-driven. That is to say, at Shall We Dance, we know You're busy, so we get right to the good stuff: the choreography for whatever's next! Thus, You'll find the ladies of Encore performing dance routines all-over West Virginia: at pageants, in parades, at fairs, in nursing homes, at Christmas shows, and in dance recitals!

​There are no auditions for Encore! Just sign up and come on out! We're truly happy to have You be a part of our dance team! Over the years, Encore has truly grown into one big, dance family - the ladies really are the best of friends(!) - and, therefore, "the more the merrier!"
